THOMAS PAINE'S OWN 1795 VERSION
OF HIS CLASSIC TREATISE
Rights of Man
Paine's Rights of Man,
the 1795 edition, has been edited by Sherwood V. Smith and David
Henley into a sixty-five page booklet. An original copy of this
edition is in the Gimbel Collection of Thomas Paine Works in
Philadelphia. However, since the publication in 1795 this edition
has has not appeared in any published works for sale -- until now.
Paine readers will want to own Paine's own version of his classic
work, as a companion to the original edition, published in 1791
and 1792.
